Entertainment & Arts writer, Osarfo Anthony has finally escaped from the list of bachelors in the country as he’s now a married man–And we are super excited for the showbiz critic and former writer of this blog, www.ghbase.com and now the current editor for www.presspeep.com.
Osarfo Anthony has been in the entertainment industry for the past 10 years and is widely known in the entertainment space. Just some few weeks ago, the writer announced his intention of marrying this year on Facebook and it wasn’t a joke, he’s finally a married man.
For many people who first chanced on the pictures on Social media, wondered why he was dressed that way–Well, the answer is pretty simple; he’s a Krshna and per their religion, that’s how their wedding rights are held.
Osarfo Anthony had his Indian/Vedic Blessing Marriage/Rite on Saturday, 27th January 2018 at the Kingsby Hotel, Accra as he exchanged vow with his new wife, Badu (name for the 10th child in the Akan tribe) and also goes by the name Atma Devi.
His wedding followed Indian/Vedic culture and rite for blessing marriage and was a bit mind-bending to some as it did not follow the normal Ghanaian traditional way of marrying or blessing marriage.

Osarfo Anthony and his wife sat before a set fire and in the middle of the event, a Priest is seen reciting the matras to invoke blessings from the Lord and all the powerful beings in the heavenly abodes.
Friends from the media and several personalities also made it to this special ceremony in the life of the writer . The likes of KSM, who was the Chairperson of the occasion was present at the wedding, KKD, Paramount Chief of Nungua Traditional Area and President of Nungua Traditional Council, His Royal Highness King (Prof) Odaifio Welentsi III, Broadcaster, Tourism/Destination Manager, Communication and Media Consultant, Mr. Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana aka Abeiku Santana.
Osarfo Anthony’s new wife also shares the same belief
with him and is a staunch devotee of the International Society For Krsna Consciousness (ISKCON) or Hare Krsna movement for short. She’s expected to be enstooled as the next queen mother of her hometown, Twenedurase in Kwahu, Eastern region, Ghana.
