Kwabena Kwabena has managed to get everyone talking owing to his choice of dress for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Sporting his trademark clean-shaven head complemented by dark spectacles and an earring on the left side of his ear, the veteran musician wore a fluffy blouse and toga trousers.

His trousers, widely known as ‘Tunabu’ in Ghana did matters worst for him as his critic claimed he effeminated his persona and looked like a gay man.

Kwabena Kwabena’s real name is George Kwabena Adu. He was born on 17 October 1981. He is a Ghanaian musician, guitarist, and an accomplished draftsman.

His name, Kwabena Kwabena, is a combination of the two professions he currently holds: draftsman and modern highlife musician. Having been on Kontihene’s 2004 smash, Esi, he then collaborated with Kontihene on his own debut single, Aso.
