Police officers at Obomeng, a suburb of Kwahu in the Eastern Region have arrested 22 people believed to be l∈sbi∂ns who gathered for a wedding ceremony over the weekend.
According to Starr News report, the incident was ongoing at a rented apartment at odd hours when Police raided the grounds to put a stop to it upon a tip-off.
The report indicated that the Police were, however, forced to grant bail to the alleged l∈sbi∂ns due to the unavailability of a female cell at the station.
The Chief of Obomeng, Nana Effah Opinamang III said they heard rumours that there was a wedding being organised by some people believed to be l∈sbi∂ns and mobilised the security team to the location to arrest the participants.

22 out of the 30 guests at the lesbian wedding were arrested while the remaining fled the scene.
