2 mins

Kumasi-based actress and host of Aben Show Nana Ama McBrown has granted an interview for the first time since the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. This year’s award will certainly go down in history as one that celebrities made mockery of their sense of fashion. Lots of the female celebrities turned up in ridiculous outfit that saw them being subjected to jest all over social media.

The beautiful actress explained that her outfit was given to her by the event organisers, Chaterhouse, hence does not regret wearing it. She made this known while speaking to Miriam Osei-Agyemang on 3FM’s mid-morning show Urban Blend on the segment dubbed ‘Worker of the Week’.

Asked how she felt about her being trolled on social media, she replied “I laughed because I was being compared to teletubbies”.

“It is so beautiful, it’s part of the job, you laugh over it and move on and it’s not something you need to take offense to.”

Nana Ama McBrown was not the only person trolled. Berla Mundi, Bibi Bright and a host of others were not spared the verbal diarrhoea of Ghanaians. One commenter said: “Was Berla Mundi asked to interview others on the red carpet, or to wear it?”
