Learn from Buju Banton and stop being violent in the name of Dancehall – Okraku Mantey advises Shatta Wale and Co.

Mark Okraku Mantey has posited that dancehall artistes need not be violent in order to succeed in the genre as it has been erroneously portrayed. . 

He said this in an interview on Peace FM Entertainment Review show in the presence of Shatta Wale who says he has changed.

“Buju was a dancehall artiste and he was very gentle. Yes, Buju Banton. You’ve got to learn from act like him. So it is not true that you have to be gidigidi and violent to succeed as a dancehall artiste” he advised.

Okraku Mantey has previously called Shatta Wale an attention seeker who does not care about the effects of his actions following Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s fight at the just ended VGMAs.

This led the Mother of Shatta Wale Elsie Evelyn Avemegah to warn Mark Okraku Mantey on her son’s behalf. She said he should also top accusing her of supporting Shatta’s weird actions.
