Low Turn Out For Wizkid’s Concert In Botswana;Shatta Wale Must Host A Concert There Too So We Prove Who Is The Real African Superstar

Reports on several Nigerian blogs suggest that Wizkid’s Diamond City concert which happened yesterday in Botswana flopped. According to reports on the blogs, only a few people turned up for his concert.

Reports say that just about 100 or little above 100 people turned up for the event and the low turnout has been blamed on low publicity. Comments monitored on Social media by Ghbase.com indicates that, most people in Botswana don’t know Wizkid and that it’s Davido who is very popular in the country and this is evident in the fact that Davido has had his own show in the country and it was more than successful.

Well, Shatta Wale had indicated some time ago that he does not see Wizkid as a superstar, a statement most Nigerians didn’t find it pleasing and it resulted in several clashes between the fans of the two artistes on Social media.

Shatta Wale even took advantage of the moment and released several songs to diss Wizkid, Timaya and Patoranking.

Our very own Shatta Wale has been described as the African Dancehall king by his fans and even non-fans alike and Wale himself has bragged several times as being the true African Dancehall king.

There’s always been this battle for supremacy in the music space on the African continent and we here at Ghbase.com feel that it’s about time we test who indeed is the true king of African music.

There’s now some rivalry between Shatta Wale and Wizkid although Wiz has not replied to all of Shatta’s rants and we feel it’s about time Shatta Wale takes this opportunity to prove to Wizkid why he feels he is not a superstar.

We know Shatta Wale is very popular in a country like Liberia but we don’t know if his music is that popular in Botswana so it’s about time Shatta Wale breaks Wizkid’s record by going to host a concert in Botswana, so we can see who indeed is the real African Superstar.
