In the year 2014, Madison Cawthorn was on spring break with his friend who he went on a vacation trip. Upon their return to Florida the two got involved in a fatal accident near Daytona Beach, Florida and Madison got a severe injury.
At the time of the accident, Madison Cawthorn was riding as a passenger on the front seat of a BMW X3 SUV and his friend Bradley Ledford who was driving fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a concrete barrier while his feet were on the dashboard
