US-based Ghanaian social media sensation, Twene Jonas, has disclosed that the National Democratic Congress under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama are refusing to go to court with the complains about the rigged election for fear of being misruled.
According to Twene Jonas in a video on his Facebook page, even though the NDC claims that they’ve been cheated by the electoral commission after it announced Nana Addo of the NPP as the ruling party, their decision to not go to court to present their case doesn’t make sense.
Twene Jonas strongly believes the reason Mahama doesn’t want to go to court is because they know very well that the court is corrupt and at the end of the day, NPP would win the case.
Jonas cited an example that in 2012 elections when NPP also accused NDC of rigging the elections, at the end of the day, Mahama won.
So Mahama is well aware of how the court system doesn’t judge cases fairly.
Mahama and his team yesterday in a press conference made it clear that they will not accept the results of the electoral commission and would contest it until what the claim to be the right results is brought before the general public.
