After finding herself in an orphanage, Caroline got lucky when she got adopted by the Fox News anchor in 2008 when she was three.
Before beginning her media career in 1990, Laura Ingraham had worked as a speechwriter in the Reagan administration in the late 1980s.
Afterward, she earned a J.D. degree and then went on to work as a judicial clerk in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York and then for United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
She also worked for the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City.
Ingraham grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut, where she was born to Anne Caroline and James Frederick Ingraham III.
