A Maryland woman whose wedding was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic still got a chance to wear her gown — to get vaccinated.

The University of Maryland Medical System shared a photo of Sarah Studley donning her white polka dot wedding dress while she was inoculated on Sunday, WJZ reported.

“Here comes the bride … to get her vaccination at M&T Bank Stadium Mass Vaccination Site,” the health care system said jokingly on social media. “Rather than let the beautiful gown for her pandemic-canceled wedding reception just hang in her closet, Sarah Studley wore it to get vaccinated.”

Studley had plans for a lavish wedding at San Diego’s Balboa Park, WBAL reported. However, she had to cancel those plans amid the pandemic. Eventually, she had a smaller ceremony in the area with her immediate family.

Studley said staff took selfies with her and everyone’s mood was so positive that the atmosphere at the vaccination site felt like a party.
