A man claims that the president of the republic owes him Ghc70,000. We were more shocked to hear him confidently repeat the said amount in an interview with Accra based radio station, Citi Fm.

The man known as George Wayoe Tetteh, was a member of the president’s legal team during the hearing of the election petition is demanding payment of his services rendered.

Tetteh Wayoe, speaking to Citi fm said: “During the election petition, I needed to move faster and move quickly to work for the President and in Ghana you know that our media houses are in certain areas that our trotros cannot move there so the best mode of transportation is to move in taxis So we move with taxis to get the work done easier, faster and quick and that is what I have been doing since I joined the team.”

“I have spent almost 70,000 ghana cedis for two years for going up and down for the cause of President during the election petition,” he added.
The lawyer told Citi FM, that he wants the president to pay him by giving him a car and an unspecified amount of money.

The amount he has mentioned is the same as 700 million old cedis and we are surprised he had that much in his account to have wasted it on only transportation alone and couldn’t buy a march worth ghc5000 with it. He is requesting that he be given a car. Well, we are not surprised, there is Wayoe in his name. One just needs to bring the letter ‘M’ after the O and he will be synonymous to that famous man we know of.
