Mother Diana is one of the unsung heroes of our time who has dedicated her time wholly to the service of mankind and the delivering of public health education to all and sundry on the regular.

This woman has been on our screens for close to 10 years and her work as a telenurse can never be understated. The quantum of knowledge she has shared with people as far as health and healthy practices are concerned is work celebrating.

In this edition of Celebrity Facts &Life, out lense is focused on Mother Dina, her work as a telenurse and why she needs to be celebrated for her dedication to work and service to the good people of Ghana.

Who is Mother Diana?

Mrs Diana Akosua Crystal-Djirackor who is affectionately called other Diana is a medical professional with over three decades of practice and teaching in the medical field and now as a principal patron and a founding member of the Medical Media Group International (MMGI).

An NGO in Ghana and represented in other African countries, she has dedicated her knowledge and experience to deliver first aid informational and preventive solutions to everyone across the globe.

She has been preaching first aid informational and preventive health solutions through the popular and award-winning “Telenurse Health Tips” vignettes/programme fillers on the Crystal TV network, precisely on the Xtra, Plus and Prime channels.

After several years of practice as a nurse in the medical field, Mother Diana now in her retirement decided to give back to society and the world at large, that which she has been blessed with by sharing critical medicare knowledge and information on healthy living standards through her numerous media engagements.

In achieving this aim, she conceptualized and promoted several brands such as Telenurse Health Tips, Telenurse Consulting, Telenurse Foundation, Telenurse Outreaches, Telenurse Interactive, and Telenurse Research & Development and has undertaken special edu-campaigns like addressing the Ebola Pandemic and currently working on the COVID-19 Project, all under the umbrella body of the Medical Media Group International.

Mother Diana has women some awards at the Radio and Television Personality Awards but that is clearly not enough. Her service to Ghana needs more recognition and celebration.
