Few people defy all odds to denounce the pleasures of this world to sacrifice their intelligence and time for the propagation of the word of God. However, making the list of the very few cannot be left out Myma Esi Appiah who doubles as a Christian Author, Preacher, Speaker, Youth Facilitator, Entrepreneur and Mother.
Myma Esi Appiah through Gods inspiration gave birth to her first Christian book christened Talora, which means Morning Dew in Hebrew. It’s a quarterly devotional guide to help contemporary Christians to understand the tenets of the Holy Bible. Meanwhile, her maiden inspiring book titled “Resisting Fear“, “The Lion of the Tribe of Judah verses the Roaring Lion” can be pre-ordered through the Email: email@example.com.
As part of making disciples of all nations, Myma Esi Appiah has a monthly fellowship called “Praise Night” and annual conference dubbed, “Heal Me” with the next one happening in the month of December. Ghbase.com will keep you posted when the time is due.
Myma Esi Appiah completed Central University College in 2006 and holds a degree in Human Resource Management. She is has a couple of modules to complete to finish a Masters in Human Resource Development at the University of Leicester, UK.
Myma Esi .A. Appiah was born and raised in a Christian home in Accra (Ghana), where she have lived all her life. Her mother, a devote Christian (Methodist) died at an early age, she was four years at the time. Her father somewhat due to grief was deeply entrenched in his work and was a workaholic for as long as she could remember, having no time and need for religion, yet he ensured she was at church every Sunday (Accra Ridge Church), neatly dressed and seated in Sunday School, up until he remarried and finally passed on during her final year in the university after exposing her and her siblings to quiet a number of nations due to the nature of his work, (Career diplomat).
As a child growing up in Ghana, she was fortunate to have attended well-regarded private schools from Kindergarten through Senior High School. The private, all-girls School she attended (Wesley Girls High School) professed a strong educational and Christian Philosophy that remained with her throughout her life. She believes it is this foundation, along with the continued support of her family, educators, church and friends that has allowed her to embrace herdream of serving her God in fullness.
Myma Esi Appiah received the Holy Ghost baptism in the year 2006. When she attended the Light House Church where she received massive insight in the things of God. She married Forster in 2008 who has been part of her support system for years. After four years, during the pursuit of her master’s degree, she took on an important role in her life, that of a mother. The birth of her daughter Dorothy-Darlene was a turning point in her life on many fronts especially that of the spiritual, she got to see first-hand the faithfulness of God. This lit in her the flame and desire to embark on a deeper search for what God requires of her. She is enrolling in a theological school as a first step in her calling, specialising in pastoral care ministry/Chaplaincy for the award of a Bachelor of Arts degree.
This year, it is my hope to complete the publishing of the book titled, “Resisting Fear” and also continue with my dream of nurturing the Christian youth, as well as being firmly planted in the House of God where she serves both in (Apostolic Empowerment Ministries) and (ICGC Adenta) as youth facilitator. She believes she is going to be a bigger blessing to many generations. A woman who many would look up to and can trust to lead them to the Lord Jesus Christ.
