Meet Sensational Gospel Artiste John D’Baptist, Son Of Legendary Nicholas Omane Acheampong.

It’s very heartwarming knowing that we have amazing talents in Ghana and how determined they are to push to the top.

John Nana Kwame Bedeahene ‘The Giver’ popularly known as John D’Baptist is a gospel musician who has been blessed with enormous talent and is known for making people accept Christ through his ministry.

He started singing at the age of 8 and his name John D’Baptist just didn’t evolve anyhow.

According to what we know, John got the chance to meet Nicholas Omane Acheampong who is one of Ghana’s most anointed gospel musicians in history; John served Nicholas for 11 to 12 years and then Nicholas got the revelation to change his name to John D’Baptist.

Nicholas Omane Acheampong the ‘Zaphenath-Paneah’ hitmaker then anointed John D’Baptist in church officially unveiling his new name and since then, things have become different for John in a positive way.

Prior to the change of name, John had released some songs but never made waves. Further checks revealed that after the change of name which is believed to be a divine one, things started turning out good for John D’Baptist and his music also started gaining grounds.

Thus, John doesn’t joke with his spiritual father Nicholas Omane Acheampong, a man whom he has served for about 12 years. We also understand that the later organized a Mega Gospel Concert  with the former and the legendary Great Ampong sometime in 2018 which really made news. As the name implies, he baptizes people through his music.

John D’Baptist has a new album out with 9 hot songs on it; we will be uploading the songs from time to time so you download, listen and get filled in the spirit.

On the 4th of August 2019, John D’Baptist will be holding his 2nd annual event titled Benefits of Worship (BOW) which will see several renowned Ghanaian gospel artistes grace it. GhBase.com will bring you updates on this event which you can’t miss for anything.
