“The NGO started in November reaching out to 75 girls in the savanna region. It went further to 100 girls still in the savanna region. We later moved to the upper west region distributing sanitary pads to over 2000 girls .
“The next region was North East region where I distributed to 700 girls in over 8 schools . I moved to the Eastern Region where I work currently.
“I distributed to 1000 girls in Asesewa Secondary school on world’s Menstrual hygiene day 28th May 2021. I visited Akuse prisons on the 1st of July and had a talk with the inmates and officers and later focused on the female to discuss Menstrual hygiene and donated items which include toiletries, sanitary pads, Shea butter products , nose masks and panties.
“The recent project was at Otrokper schools and Akateng cluster of schools all in the upper Manya Krobo district. Well over 500 girls received sanitary pads and I had a presentation on Menstrual Hygiene and self confidence in the Girl child.
” It has been a great impact so far since I’ve heard great news after my visit . It is my dream to reach out to every girl in Ghana . I have reached out to more than 30 schools and still counting.”
