World-best football player, Lionel Messi has finally sent his goodbye to his fans in Barcelona as he breaks down in tears.
The player has been playing for the football club all his life and has won several cups for the team during his stay and has also won three Ballon d’Or.
A few days ago, Barcelona’s football club released a press statement revealing Messi is no more going to play for the club.
The contract renewal wasn’t able to come on due to struggles with finance.
Messi in a press conference to say goodbye to the fans he said, “I’m leaving the club without seeing the fans over a year and a half. If I imagined it, I imagine the Camp Nou full and say goodbye properly. But it has to be this way”
He added “Barcelona is my home, our home. I wanted to stay Barça and it was the plan and today I have to say goodbye after my entire life here”
