Moment Chairman Wontumi vehicle runs into NPP supporters at delegates’ conference

At the party’s delegates conference, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, ran into some supporters by accident.

When he got to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the regional executive elections, he was greeted by a crowd of people who wanted to vote for him.

After listening to what his supporters called him, Wontumi got back into his car and ran into some of them by accident.

Asaase Radio shared a video that showed the current NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman slamming on the brakes to avoid a disaster.

The NPP’s regional delegates conference started on Friday. This is where the party’s leaders will be chosen before the general elections in 2024.

So far, eight regions have been able to hold successful elections to choose their own regional chairs.

One of the candidates, Baba Bukari, has gone viral after saying that he would give an iPhone to every party communicator if he won.

Bukari is running for Bono East Regional Chairman and is determined to get as many votes as possible.

Before Saturday’s regional elections, his promise to use only one phone and one iPhone went viral, and people on the Internet shared their thoughts on his strategy.
