The man of God who once said that he prefers listening to Shatta Wale’s Gringo, Kpuu Kpaa, etc to gospel songs produced in Ghana has release another bombshell. This time around, he has stated categorically that Ghana’s gospel music industry is filled with prostitutes.

Mr. Hammond Love publicly known as Pastor Love in a virtual interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra revealed that some of the gospel musicians indulge in prostitution and it is affecting the industry. He proceeded by saying that the gospel industry has failed to flourish because of that.
“The reason why the industry is not going well is prostitution and dirt. You can insult me about that but that’s factual.” he said
Regardless he pleaded to the few saints amongst the ‘corrupt’ gospel musicians to learn how to present a positive image to the public especially in the media for the media now is like the surgeons knife – it cuts and heals at the same time. He goes on blame the media for his marriage break up.
“The media is a mafia group, they support evil. That’s another contributing factor to the decline of the music industry”, Pastor Love revealed.
On records, Pastor Love over the years has been a blessing to Ghana gospel music and has helped a lot of musicians into stardom, of which his “ex-wife” Christiana Love now Obaapa Christy is one of the great beneficiaries of his contribution.
