Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso could not hold back the tears following the team’s exit in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in the round 16.
It was all pain and anguish for Ghana as they lost to Tunisia at the round of 16 on penalties. Tunisia won by 5 goals to 4 after Caleb Ekuban missed one penalty for the Blackstars.
The 28-year-old was, however, named the Total Man of the Match following his explosive performance against Tunisia, however, he could not hold back his tears as he sat and cry with his award beside him.

he also spoke on the way forward for the Black Stars.
“I thought this tournament was for us because we’ve put in a lot of hard work. Now we need to think about the future,” he said after receiving the award.
