Musician and actress Diamond Appiah who is known famously for always attacking and maligning Mzbel has lost miserably in the Parliamentary race in the Trobu constituency where she contested and we are excited about it.

Diamond Appiah who contested on the ticket of UPP polled only 429 of the total votes count of 75, 752 in Trobu Constituency in Amasaman.

Her campaign was characterized by name-calling of political opponents and anyone who dared disagree with her instead of focusing on her campaign. Prominent of her list of ‘haters’ were MzBel and Afia Schwarzenegger.

Diamond Appiah had been attacking Akuffo Addo and the Npp for a long time until she recently decided to endorse Nana Addo for reasons best known to her. We have added a screenshot from a post she made in the past.

Ghbase.com has however monitored that Diamond Appiah has BLOCKED our official instagram account. Ghbase.com believes that she did so after we had asked her why she attacked and said all manner of bad things she knew were not true about Nana Akuffo Addo in the past.

It will be recalled that some few days to the election, she started singing praises on Akuffo Addo and we find her sudden switch  suspicious.

Well, we will leave it here as we have several screenshots of the venom she spat on Nana Akuffo Addo  and would be posting all of them in our subsequent posts.

See Below the Provisional results in her constituency:
NPP – 48, 786

NDC – 26, 276

PPP – 254

UPP – 429 ( represented by Appiah)

CPP – 105

Rejected – 252

Over Voting – 94

Total Votes – 75, 792
