Former MTN Hitmaker participant, Yaw Berk is still on a warpath with Kaywa, the boss of Highly Spiritual Music and sound engineer by dropping a bombshell about him in a new interview.
The musician explained to Sammy Flex one of the reasons why he forced himself out of Kaywa’s record label.
He said he felt the ace producer was not promoting enough songs for the music market and that he was not told promotion of songs by all artistes under the label would be in turns.
“It wasn’t stated in the contract. It wasn’t briefed in the contract,” he said.
“This is business. Artiste you for release every quarter like 3 songs. How consistent can you be if you don’t have songs going outside there? So it’s not like I was being impatient but that’s my work. I don’t do anything else, I’ll be idle if I’m not doing anything,” he explained.
Yaw Berk also revealed that Kaywa wanted to take Ghc50,000 from Inner Heights Entertainment, a record label that wanted to work with him.
“I brought Inner Heights Entertainment to talk to highly Spiritual music and it seems it didn’t go amicable.
According to Inner Heights boss, Kaywa demanded some amount that is outrageous for him so he feels like he can’t do it so I should rather talk to him like father and son so that even if he can lease me off let me work faster or harder, try and maybe pay the amount you asked for but it still didn’t get to his head.
He still didn’t like it so the people were like no, I can’t handle you with issues,” he narrated.
