The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has revealed that although he has been battling liver disease for some time now, it does not in any way affect his ability to work.

Opening up for the first time about his wellbeing, Mr Ofori-Atta said, “I got Covid-19 somewhere in November and then got out of a hospital’s emergency maybe the 10th of December.

“I came home and things were pretty good, I mean the Covid was gone. Then I began to feel jaundiced and so I was feeling quite unwell.

“Eventually, we got diagnoses that the liver was inflamed and required some work to determine what was really happening.

“So that took some time to begin to find the probable cure, which involved steroids and all of that,” he recounted on Thursday in the studio of Metro TV with Paul Adom Otchere.
