Kumkum Bhagya has been on the screen of Multi Media’s Adom TV for over two years and has since its introduction caught a lot of Telenovela fans on glued to their TV set.

Many entertainment critics and industry players have blamed the low patronage of the local movies on the influx of some of these foreign Telenovelas which have flooded the screens of many local televisions. This is because, like Kukum Bagya most of these are translated into the akan dialect therby making it easier for those who are not too conversant with English language enjoy the movie. It can be recalled that the Cast of Kumkum Bagya paid a visit to Ghana somewhere last year which increased the patronage of Ghanaians.
