The son of the former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has been sentenced to 50 years imprisonment for fraud in the United States.
The son of the former MP is said to have played the role in a romance fraud and also money laundering in the States.

According to Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, the friends of his son implicated him after using his document for the crime. He emphasized that his son is innocent of the crime.
“As a father, my son told me that one of his colleague students wanted a car, and he has documents that allow him to auction vehicle and it turns out the colleague student was involved in a romance fraud,” Fuseni says in an interview on Asaase radio.

The son of the former Member of Parliament is expected to be jailed on the 21st of November, 2022.
The United States Department of Justice has issued a statement stating that the 31-year-old Inusah is likely to face a maximum penalty of 50 years in prison for his involvement in the defrauding scheme based in Huntington.
