My Teachers Didn’t See Me As A ‘Serious’ Student-Shatta Wale

The past week has been a very good one for dancehall act a Shatta Wale as he recorded the higest turnout ever at his album launch in the history of Ghanaian music.

Shatta Wale is the ambassador of several big brands in Ghana and one can boldly say he’s been very blessed and has worked hard all these years amidst his ‘stubborn’ nature.

As today October 17 marks his birthday, he made a touching post on Twitter about how his teachers described him in school.

He tweeted:

When I was in school, I had intelligent boys who my teachers referred to as serious students and that I wasn’t. But little did they know there was a difference btwn intelligence and blessings!! You can have all the degree but if you not with God.. u nobody!!

One thing most people do not understand is, success is not measured by your level of education or how beautiful one is. Another thing every human should desist from doing is looking down on another due to that person’s recent situation for tables turn. We’re really proud of how far Shatta has come and we hope he breaks several international borders in the years to come.

Anyway, check out Shatta’s tweet below:
