Some Ghanaians are blaming President Akufo-Addo for what they describe as a deliberate attempt by the government to stop Joy News from exposing the scandals involving government appointees.
Today, the Joy News television channel advertised to televise a new scandal they have uncovered in the government setup and promised to bring Ghanaians up to speed with what they have found out.
Moments after the start of the broadcast at 8:30 pm, the Joy News channel went off on DSTV and GOTV and this had raised eyebrows. Many believe this is a deliberate attempt by the government to prevent the station from exposing some rots in the governemnt.

For many, this is an attempt to impede the right and freedom of the media. Others believe an exposè on the government just a few days to an election will do the government more harm thus it has taken steps to prevent Ghanaians from watching.
These frustrations of Ghanaians were poured out on Twitter as follows;
