World Superstar Rihanna was in Senegal over the weekend as she had teamed up with French president Emmanuel Macron to improve education in developing countries.
The pair met in Senegal this week at the Global Partnership for Education conference, a gathering that included World Bank president Jim Yong Kim and the leaders of several African nations, according to ABC News. The objective of the gathering was to raise funds to support the education of children in developing countries.
Her foundation was able to raise $2.3 Billion from the conference to support education in impoverished nations and the French president, pledged that France would contribute $248 million to the fund and called on other world leaders to donate.
And our very own president, Nana Akuffo Addo was also at the conference.
Rihanna who is the ambassador for this project shook hands with the world leaders and Addo D was one of the leaders she shook hands with.
In the video which we have posted below, you would see the president saying something to Rihanna as he shook her hands but what was it that, he was telling Rihanna?
Well, we don’t get to hear whatever it is that he was telling her as the microphone did not pick it but we at www.ghbase.com we are assuming, the president was telling Rihanna this:
“You know my wife and I love your music soo much and our citizens too love you, You should think about coming to Ghana this year, it’s such a great country and you will love the place”
Ha! What do you think President Nana Akuffo Addo was telling Rihanna? Share with us in comments!
