Nana Akufo Addo’s 17th Covid-19 Speech: Ghana Football Starts On October 30

All football-related activities will soon commence after a long break owing to the outbreak of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. This was disclosed on Sunday evening by the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo during his weekly Presidential COVID speech.

Ghana Premier and the Division One League will resume on Friday, October 30, 2020, with a strict Covid-19 protocol to be observed by all supporters and the various clubs.

The President said no spectator will be expected at the training grounds of the various clubs and spectatorship during match days will be twenty-five percent of the capacity of the stadium to allow for social distancing.
