The Head of Corporate Communications at the Ghana National Gas Company Limited, Ernest Kofi Owusu Bempah has fired the leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over Allotey Jacob’s suspension.
In a press release signed and released by the National Chairman of the NDC Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the former NDC central regional Chairman for the party has been suspended over persistent anti-party conduct.
This suspension came after the NDC requested media houses not to allow Allotey Jacobs to represent the party as their communicator. This resulted in the NDC boycotting Peace FM’s Political show “Krokrokoo” hosted by Chairman Kwame Sefa Kayi Wednesday morning.
But in a reaction on Asempa FM’s ‘Ekoosii Sen’, the maverick politician who is now aligned to the NPP said the NDC goofed with their infamous disciplinary measure.
He continued that the leadership aside exhibiting emotional immaturity has been inconsistent in their approach in disciplining party folks as the likes of Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the party has said worst things in time past but was left off the hook.
“OB, What has Allotey Jacob said?… Some have said worst things than Allotey who shares his independent view.
Go and read the party’s constitution, Rawlings is described as the sole founder of the party yet the likes of Asiedu Nketiah likened him to a dog who has been tamed. What did they do to Asiedu Nketiah?… Who even came out to condemn his statement?.”
“The NDC is once again displaying incompetence even in opposition. There’s inconsistency in the party’s leadership with the lot acting with emotions.
