Member of Parliament (MP) for Juaboso constituency, Hon Mintah Akandoh whose laps Ursula Owusu sat during the chaotic session in parliament moments the investiture of Nana Akufo Addo has spoken about the trending issue for the first time.

A picture of NPP’s Ursula Owusu sitting on the laps of Mr. Akandoh of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) went viral on social media, attracting waves of interesting comments from Ghanaians. It emerged that the maverick Ursula has claimed her counterparts had taken her chair which was on the majority side hence will sit on her laps if he wouldn’t move away.

While reacting to the interesting spectacle, Mr. Akandoh told TV3 that what the MP for Ablekuma West constituency did was tantamount to sexual harassment. Mintah Akandoh added that during that moment his attention was on the election of Speaker hence he felt a wood sitting on him.

His comment is perhaps to dispel rumours that he hardened up after the interesting encounter he had with Ursula.
