Farida Mahama, daughter of Former President John Dramani Mahama, says negative comments about his father sometimes do get to her.
In a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram, she was asked how she feels when her father is ill-spoken of in the public sphere and she responded by saying it sometimes rubs her the wrong way.
Questions about whether she will like to be a politician and another on how she spends her day were answered by her respectively.
With the first question, Farida Mahama said she is not interested in politics and with the second one she answered by saying: “eating and just using my phone all the whole day“.
John Dramani Mahama is seeking a return to the seat of government come December 7, 2020, but has to face the incumbent president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo in what many predict will be the most fiercely contested election in the history of Ghana’s democracy.
