The new UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr. Iain Walker, is set to meet members of the UK Ghana Chamber of Commerce at his residence. Iain Walker was appointed February 2017 by Her Majesty The Queen of England to take over from Jon Benjamin who has been transferred to the The British Home Office.
Mr. Iain Walker is married to Claire Walker with three Children. Mr. Iain Walker, a former Finance Director, has worked with the Price Water House Coopers, Ernst & Young, and Banking and Capital Markets.
The UK Ghana Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new high commissioner with their one year anniversary celebration. Among the members of the Chamber is Ghana’s Tourism Promoter and Destination Manager, Abeiku Aggrey Santana – the CEO of Kaya Tours.
The new UK High Commissioner is also scheduled to meet the media community in Ghana in the coming weeks.
