Nigerian Fashion Design Apprentice Asked To Bring 20 Tubers Of Yam, Two Chickens, Oil And Salt Before She Graduates

A fashion design apprentice in Kwara, Nigeria, has been ordered by the Kwara State Women Tailoring Association to bring 20 tubers of yam, groundnut oil, two chickens and 5 dry fish amongst many others as materials for her graduation as a fashion designer.

The lady named Abigeal Emilolu was asked to bring the items for the morning programme with another list of items needed for the afternoon session.

The items for the afternoon session included; 4 crates of cocoa cola, 3 packets of sugar, one bottle of honey, one carton of okin biscuits amongst many others.

The lady, intimidated by the list, decided to seek support to enable her graduate. she twitted photos of the list from the Kwara Tailors Association at Nigerian record producer Don Jazzy asking for his support.

“Please sir support my freedom ceremony please sir” she wrote.
