Nigerian Idol is the local version of the Idol series franchise. It is the second Idol franchise for the country as it was already part of Idols West Africa which was also shot and produced in Stockholm, Sweden.

After six-year hiatus, the programme has staged a comeback and set to unearth more talents that will take the music industry by storm. The date for its commencement hasn’t be made known yet.

Nigerian media personality, Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa aka IK Osakioduwa has been named the new show host while seasoned personalities like Osakioduwa, Seyi Shay, DJ Sose, and Obi Asika will steer the show as the judges for the new show.
