Are your parents on Social media? Will you be able to correct their grammatical errors when they make one? Well, when you have that ‘cool’ relationship with your parents, you can certainly do so.
Twitter is bursting with laughter after Nigerian singer, Simi corrected her mom when she made a mistake in a tweet she sent out.
In a tweet, her mother sent out, she was asking people to retweet her post but spelled that as ‘retreat’ instead and Simi came in to correct her.
Simi replied her mom’s tweet; “Mum it’s retweet. Nobody’s gonna retreat for you”
See the post below:
Well, her mom had no issues with her correcting her and in another reply said:
Thanks for the correction. At least it means all the money I paid into Covenant University is not wasted. Our prayer is that our children will know more than us. I have made it because my princess is woke. I hope I got that. Happy New year baby???
