Nigerian students manufacture a Jeep using local materials, ask for help so they can finish

A group of young men from Nigeria has wowed social media with their ingenuity and innovation. 

The boys shared photos of a prototype of a Jeep they had built with local materials.

In a post on their Facebook page, Creative Tinker Tech, the bright students of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, showed how they used locally sourced irons and other materials to come about the automobile design.

They further asked the government and well-meaning Nigerians to assist them to blossom their entrepreneurial skills to bolster the economy of the country.

The students shared photos on Facebook with the caption:

“Get to know innovation in another dimension as Students of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, unveils an AUTOMOBILE DESIGN with amazing features as a means of navigating the Technological World.

“This is another touch in the space of Technological Development, and mind-blowing reflections in creativity.

“Stay tuned, as we get you updated every now and then, regarding this Innovation.

“We are using this Medium to solicit for sponsorship from the general public to enable this DESIGN be completed.

“Inappropriate funding has been a bottleneck during the course of Designing this Prototype.”
