Nigerians living in Ghana have replicated the EndSARS protest in Accra as they cry out and demand the immediate resignation of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
Nigerians have been calling on Nigerian authorities to disband the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) which is notoriously famed for illegal arrest, extortion, murders, harassment, and other social vices which are unbecoming of a police force.
Although the government has listened to the protesters and disbanded the police unit which was created in late 1992 to deal with crimes associated with robbery, motor vehicle theft, kidnapping, cattle rustling, and firearms, the protest is still ongoing as people call for total reformation in all aspect of Nigeria’s political system.
The protest was supervised by the Ghana Police Service and the Nigerians can’t stop praising the police here for their high level of professionalism as opposed to their native land where at least seven people have been killed on Tuesday at Lekki Toll Gate.
