Nikki Samonas Gets People Talking As She Eats Fufu With Chicken Stew

Ghanaian actress, Nikki Samonas has got a lot of people talking as she posted a picture of her enjoying the famous Ghanaian fufu with chicken stew.

Fufu, as traditional Ghanaian food, is normally enjoyed with soup; it has never been heard of that someone adds chicken stew to their fufu.

Nikki Samonas thinks it is possible and that there is actually nothing wrong with it.

It remains to be seen if it will be as enjoyable as compared to when you eat it with soup.

She posted the picture of the fufu in a plate with the chicken stew around it and wrote;

“Neat fufu and chicken stew, yummy.”

Apparently, to defend her decision to move away from the customary, she wrote in separate tweets that she sees nothing wrong with it and that if one could eat Konkonte, banku and akple with pepper, she sees no reason not to eat fufu with pepper.

According to Nikki Samonas, it is mental slavery to stick to just eating fufu with soup, something she admonished Ghanaians to emancipate themselves from.

“Think of it this way. You eat banku, corn powder/dough with pepper, this is plantain or cassava or yam powder/dough with stew.

It’s perfect.

If you can eat akple, kokonte, banku with pepper or stew, why can’t you eat powdered fufu with the same???

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery Na no bl333,” she added.

Would you try eating your fufu with pepper?
