Controversial Ghanaian politician, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has sparked the anger of a lot of people over his recent threats to burn down the former President John Dramani Mahama after accusing him of being the brain behind the recent fires in various market places.
Sitting on his Net TV, Kennedy Agyapong who was in his elements as usual, heavily criticized John Dramani Mahama of the NDC and called him a big “f00l” amongst other derogatory words.
The recent fire outbreaks in various market places in Accra is suspected to be the works of some NDC Supporters after the electoral commission didn’t the election results in their favor.
Even though there is no substantial evidence to support his claims, Kennedy Agyapong insists Mahama is the brain behind it and threatened to burn his house with some of his party members.
Now the question a lot of people are asking is, why isn’t Kennedy Agyapong being arrested for making such threats on live TV? Why have the NPP allowed him to behave as if he is untouchable? Why is he allowed to get away with a lot of illegal things? If the tables were turned and it was an NDC guy who made such uncouth remarks about Nana Addo, will he be allowed to go scot free or immediately summoned by the BNI?
Well, I personally think these are genuine questions. The fact that we are in a democratic country doesn’t mean anyone can go on live TV to disrespect a former President based on presumptions.
Some even called the Ghana Police force incompetent for not calling for the arrest of Kennedy Agyapong over his threats.
