It is almost primetime for Nokia’s first Android smartphone as BGR India had exclusively reported last week. Today we have the first photographs of the forked Android UI that will be running on the Normandy, courtesy @evleaks.

The UI clearly is closer to the Asha UI, with the first photo the homescreen, which reminds us of the FastLane UI concept introduced in the Asha full-touch range. The photos also show it will be a dual-SIM smartphone and judging by the names in the phonebook, India would be one of the major target markets for this device.

Like we had reported last week, this device (and hopefully future devices in this range) would be used to introduce Microsoft services like Skype among others to first time Internet users.

We are expecting Nokia to announce the Normandy at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
