Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has endorsed Van Vicker as her best Ghanaian. The debate as to who is Ghana’s best actor has gone for years with no definitive conclusion. The comparisons have often transcended bonded acting to their looks and wealth. Certainly the endorsement from a veteran actress who wields much influence will certainly bolster Van Vicker’s ego.
Omotola made the disclosure whilst on Starr Chat hosted by ace broadcaster Nathaniel Anokye Adisi aka Bola Ray on Starr FM. Giving reasons why she opted for Van Vicker ahead of Majid Michel (who is believed to own that accolade) and John Dumelo the beautiful actress said her assessment is based on the fact she has acted with Van Vicker in lots of movies than the other aforementioned actors.
“I’ve worked with all of them (Van Vicker, Majid Michel & John Dumelo) but with Van Vicker, I’ve more movies with him than the others. But for my favourite I will say its Dumelo because he’s my co-ambassador (Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd.) and he’s my boyfriend too.”
It seems her judgement is shrouded in a paradox because the inevitable question which arises is:between John Dumelo and Van Vicker, who is Omotola’s best actor?
The 39-years old actress, affectionately called Omo Sexy by her fans made her debut in 1995 and has risen to be one of the best and most sought after actress on the African continent.
