“I had to mention that I come from Cape Coast in order to escape from further beatings. If I had confirmed that I am an Ewe, I would have received further beatings.”

Those were the words of embattled journalist Caleb Kudah who was picked by the National Security at the precincts of Citi FM at Adabraka in Accra on May 11 2021 for filming a security zone.

Fast forward, Tv3’s Berla Mundi has added her voice to the ongoing issue of how Caleb Kudah of Citi Tv was arrested and tortured for filming at the National Security Premises.

Reacting to this, Berla Mundi is outraged we are doing this to ourselves.

“Nothing broke my heart more than when Caleb said he had to deny his ethnicity to avoiding getting physically assaulted even more. My God!!! What are we doing to ourselves?’ she quizzed.
