Oboy Siki, a Kumawood actor, has revealed the average fee charged by actors who appear in various YouTube skits shot in Kumasi.
Oboy Siki revealed to Ola Michael on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review show that the amount of money paid is mostly determined by the level of the individual involved.
He stated that most people who work as PAs on set and occasionally get one or two scenes to shoot earn at least GH100.00 per day.
Oboy Siki went on to say that top stars are paid at least GH1,500 or GH2,000 for a day on a movie set.

He went on to say that these rates may differ or increase if the person shooting the skit is unknown to the stars they want to use in their production.
When asked how these monies are paid to them, Oboy Siki stated that most producers of such skits will pool the funds and pay the full amount to the individuals involved in the production when they are finished shooting, which usually lasts no more than three days.
