Official: Coach Milovan sacked and management committee dissolved

Milovan Rajevac has been formally fired, and the Black Stars management committee has been disbanded.

Milovan Rajevac, the coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, has been fired by the Ghana Football Association after a lengthy investigation.

The team’s management committee has been disbanded, with the exception of the coach and the Football Association.

The long-awaited dismissal was officially published this evening on the GFA website and on the organization’s social media platforms.

The Serbian strategist was in charge of Ghana’s worst-ever performance in the African Cup of Nations, which took place in December.

Ghana qualified for the knockout round of the tournament for the first time in the event’s history without picking up a single point from its three group games.

Even the team’s management committee was not spared, as it was forced to be disbanded.

Ghana will face Nigeria in a two-legged playoff in March for a spot in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022, which will be held in Qatar.
