Fufu is an irresistible meal which is enjoyed by many clans in Africa. The spotlight was on this meal few months ago when the general overseer of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensah Otabil raised serious concerns about why people continue to enjoy the delicacy despite the strenuous effort it takes to get it done.
The pastor could be right in a certain context because fufu has just landed one female teacher in a hot soup, not literally though. According to information we gathered from peacefmonline, a teacher with the Amahi M/A Basic School in the Akuapem-North Municipal Assembly has been summoned to appear before the Municipal Director of Education, Ms. Grace Owusua Addo for misconduct.
In a bizarre query letter dated March 27, 2017, the teacher, Ansah G. Darkoa, is to explain why he should not be sanctioned for misconducting herself.
His offense being; (a) For pounding fufu and eating in school during class hours; and (b) Refusing to teach after enjoying the meal.
