According to a report filed by Atinka TV, a Ghanaian health expert has said oral sex poses a great threat to practitioners as it puts one at high risk of getting throat cancer.
This theory was advanced by Otolaryngologist, Dr. Kenneth Baidoo who stated that the younger generation is more susceptible to throat cancer as a result of indulging in oral sex.
Per the information shared by Atinka TV, Dr. Baidoo stated that the younger generation is more susceptible to throat cancer as a result of indulging in oral sex.
Oral sex involves using the mouth, lips, or tongue to stimulate the penis (fellatio), vagina (cunnilingus), or anus (anilingus) of a sex partner. The penis and testicles and the vagina and area around the vagina are also called the genitals or genital area.
According to Dr. Baidoo, there are counts of the younger generations between the ages of 30-40 involved in oral sex and with throat cancer and it narrows down with the high practice of oral sex among them.
”We are getting quite a number of people coming with throat cancer, cancer of the throat,” he noted. Rimming and blow jobs are some of the many ways in which oral sex is done leading to the high risk of getting throat cancer, according to the Otolaryngologist.
He also added that if the condition is left for a longer period before detection, it can result in long term risks like jaw explicit, “Put simply, maybe it’s a risk of jaw explicit,” he noted.
