“Our Girlfriends Won’t Survive If You Stop QwikLoan Over E-levy” – Sad Boys Beg MTN

Ghanaians claim that if MTN or other loan companies stops giving out QuickLoans, they will be unable to celebrate Christmas or care for their girlfriends.

According to them, Ghana’s system is becoming more difficult than before, and they frequently use MTN QuickLoan offers as a point of departure.

This came following reports that Telcos were intending to stop offering loans if Ghana’s government approved the budget for 2022.

Some Ghanaians who are concerned about the Telcos’ movement on the offer request MTN and others to establish a mechanism that will prevent them from taking advantage of the loan offer.

“We can’t do without QuickLoan since our wage doesn’t get us to the end of the month, so we accept QuickLoan to cover our bills,” some Ghanaians remark in an interview with AfricaWish Media.

If MTN or other lending services stop providing loans, we will lose our loved ones.

Christmas is approaching, and our next stop will be at QuickLoan to celebrate so we are requesting MTN and others to search for another option by offering us the offer.”

The plea comes at the back of the Chief Executive Officer of Afb Ghana, operators of Qwikloan services on MTN, who recently hinted that his outfit will halt the functionality of the service should the proposed electronic transaction levy (e-levy) be implemented.

In a Facebook post, the CEO of Afb Ghana Arnold Parker warned that the service will go into hibernation if the tax finally takes effect while writing on social media to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the service.

As a reminder, Qwikloan is a fast, easy, and convenient mode of enabling customers to access loans using their MTN mobile money platform.
