The world’s leading civic organizing hub which empowers people everywhere to create the change they want to see has gotten over 50,000 as at the time of this publication to sign a petition by basketball fan Nick asking the NBA to change its logo to honour Kobe Bryant.
Nick who’s a die-hard NBA fan asked the NBA that the logo which has for nearly 50 years bore Jerry West’s silhouette should be changed to Kobe Bryant’s silhouette.
“With the untimely and unexpected passing of Kobe Bryant please sign this petition in an attempt to make his memory last forever as the NBA Logo,” he wrote alongside his petition.

The NBA superstar passed away in a horrific helicopter crash on Sunday afternoon and it has been a big blow for the NBA fraternity since his death was announced.
In a report by TMZ, NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant was among at least four people travelling in his private helicopter over Calabasas when a fire broke out, sending the chopper spiralling from the sky.
There were no survivors and the cause of the crash is still under probe. Los Angeles County Sheriffs shared on its official Twitter account that five people were confirmed dead in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, adding that there were “no survivors.” “Investigation ongoing,” it said.
