Ghanaian boxer, Patrick Allotey after his infamous assault on a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko during their crunch encounter with rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak is really facing hard times with the law.
The Ghana Boxing Authority a few days ago banned the boxer form all boxing activities for six months following the video which hit social media showing him assaulting a football fan during Accra Hearts of Oak’s super clash against Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Well, new information Ghbase.com has gathered is that the popular boxer has been granted a GH¢100,000 bail with three sureties after he was charged with assault at an Accra Circuit Court on Monday presided over by Mrs Evelyn Asamoah.
According to Graphic Online’s Kwame Larweh who was in court today, Allotey was ordered to deposit his passport at the registry of the court.
The former WBO Africa Super welterweight champion must also report to the police once every week whiles the case was adjourned to February 25, 2020.
