Just like many celebrities, rapper Okyeame Kwame has added his voice to the plea for actress Akuapem Poloo’s case to be tempered with mercy.
While many argue that Akuapem Poloo‘s nude photoshoot with their son did no societal harm thus should be let free, Okeyeme Kwame believes she has gone through enough trauma and learnt her lessons.
According to him, Rosemond Brown (as she is originally called) is a single mother who has been working hard to fend for her son therefore, the court should consider her case on humanitarian grounds and let her go.
Okyeame Kwame, in a tweet also called on leaders and begged them to look into Akuapem Poloo’s case which will be decided on Friday and ensure that the socialite is not put behind bars or slapped with a huge fine.
He wrote: I will like to plead for Akuapem Poloo and ask our leaders to please consider the fact that she’s a single mother. I think she’s been traumatized enough. The law is the law.. but can we be kind?

The hashtag [#FreeAkuapemPoloo] has been trending on social media as celebrities and concerned Ghanaians rise with a concerted voice calling for justice to be tempered with mercy in favour of Akuapem Poloo.
Meanwhile, many others believe the law needs to deal with Akuapem Poloo ruthlessly to serve as a lesson and deterrent to all and sundry.
Some of these comments were made under the post by Okyeame Kwame pleading on behalf of her.
